Lucy Dawson (AKA 'Mac') was famous for her dog portraits done in pencil, pen & ink and pastels. She wrote & illustrated a number of books and had her drawings featured in English & American magazines.
Lucy Dawson was commissioned by the British Royal Family to paint their favourite corgi, "Dookie" which was reproduced as the family's personal Christmas card.
